Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with Panama’s Minister of Economy and Industry Federico Alfaro. The Secretary expressed the Department of Commerce’s continued commitment to fostering a strong trade and investment relationship with Panama. The two also discussed strengthening collaboration on developing resilient supply chains as Panama continues to develop its natural resource sector. Finally, they reiterated their shared commitment to creating a mutually beneficial business environment and expanding the benefits of a sustainable, inclusive, and responsible bilateral trade relationship.
